I was asked about lvling a shadow priest tonight so I detailed specs every 10lvls, figured I'd post it here for anyone interested as well.

Level: 20
Level: 30
Level: 40
Level: 50
Level: 60
Level: 70 - hybrid, best pve build for <950dmg
Level: 70 - full pve build, >950dmg

EJ - Priest: Shadow

Thanks. Very handy. I can see a poor choice in my current spec at level 28 that I'm going to change.

Btw, how does Spirit effect Shadow Priest in-combat regen?

doesnt affect it at all till you have meditation, unless of course you've just landed a killing blow on an enemy and spirit tap is still up.

Spirit alone does nothing for your in combat regen.
When you kill something and spirit tap goes off there are two things that can happen -

You stay out of combat and get 200% mana regen from spirit for 15 sec.

You pull another mob and get in combat and keep 100% mana regen from spirit for 15 sec. (50% regen while casting with a 200% bonus rolling)
