curious....(stat mod)

Post by Palehorse » Thu Jul 10, 2008 1:50 pm

Even though I haven't been raiding for some time, I do occasionally peek at other websites/forums. Over at Death and Taxes, some of the loot screenshots show an item + stat summary/changes that an item would bring (particularly the 1st warglaive, and 4th posts).

What mod(s) were used in the screenshots?

RatingBuster is the de facto standard for gear comparisons, at least of gear that you can retrieve the tooltips for, with one caveat: it bases its comparisons on the base stats of the items, excluding enchants and gems, even when they are applied to the item.

For example, if you compare an item with 20 Stamina to one with 10 Stamina and a blue socket with a +15 Stamina gem, it will tell you that the first item is better. It's up to you to figure out the effect of any enchants/gems/socket bonuses.
