I have a research paper due on thurs. Forums keep distracting me. Here's a random paragraph:
Early remote sensing conducted with cameras was primarily done in the visible portion of the electromagnetic spectrum. Remote sensing was expanded to the infrared, with the development of black and white infrared film in Germany around 1904. It wasn’t until the early 1940s that false color infrared film was developed. This was used for distinguishing camouflaged equipment until the invention of IR reflecting paint. False color IR film has other applications though, such as in vegetation studies. Healthy green vegetation appears bright red in color IR photographs.
Stimulating huh?
