I have canceled my Aion subscription. I thought i should like it but something i couldnt put my finger on bothered me about it. Then i stumbled on my favorite new blog and the author totally nailed what i was thinking. You can read about it here. That's a link to like 4 or 5 posts describing whats wrong with that game and a lot of MMORPGs in general.

Interesting blog. It sounds like I could summarize it kind of like this: WoW created the MMO market that exists today. Everyone since then is trying to imitate WoW without really innovating. Unless someone innovates, the MMO world will eventually fail.

*yawn* -- no kidding.

inertia is a big reason for wow's success, why change if it involves more work, and you lose the momentum you already have built up.

plain and simple

There is more to life than pew pew you know, like staying out of the fire so you can live to pew pew another day
